Clear knee mom jeans

Does this count as an essential? ;)
At least you don't have to worry about wet knees if you have to garden in the rain.
Maybe I should try something like this for the boys' pants. They all have holes in the knees, maybe I should patch them with Ziploc bags!

Bizarre! Fun, thanks for showing us !

I saw these on some show last night, being mocked. I think it was Seth Meyers. I laughed super hard.

You added a laugh to my day. Thanks!

Just got my sewing machine repaired and zip lock bags are in my kitchen drawer. No time for rest now! Lol! :-)

  • Barbara Diane replied 7 years ago

I sent the photo on to my friends; want you to know that the sharing goes on.

I just came to the forum to post about these jeans!  I admit I had to check my calendar thinking that maybe it was April Fools Day.  If anyone can make these "cool" it would be someone on this forum but I have my doubts!!

Loud laughter going on here in the Staysfit home. DS is home for his "Spring Break" in the middle of a Nor'easter, and he remembers all the patches on his jeans when he was younger. In fact, he somehow has a hole in the pair he is wearing now, so I'm heading for the ziplock bags myself.......! I wonder how this will go over on a college campus?! :-)

My friend sent me the link for a laugh. I told her I could embarrass my kids with my clothing choices for less than $95!

  • Sal replied 7 years ago

Interesting, I think they will rustle...and while I like my calves and am at peace with my thighs, I am happy to hide my knees!!

  • Marilyn replied 7 years ago

Wow!  Ok....I don't even know what to say. LOL

  • Kate replied 7 years ago

That's hilarious! I could so do that with all my gardening jeans. Although I think I'll sew in plastic tarp patches.

  • UmmLila (Lisa) replied 7 years ago

They remind me of the bubble umbrellas with the window for the user to see out.

  • Emily K replied 7 years ago

I spied those on-line at Nordstrom, I think.  (Yup, just checked your "finds"...)    Bwahahahahah!  :-)

  • columbine(erin) replied 7 years ago

I was going to post about these. Haha, they would look so terrible on me!

  • replied 7 years ago

Oh no, really?  Those are whack.

  • Momo replied 7 years ago

Hmmmmm... is there someone who really wants to show their knees when it is too cold for shorts ?

  • Runcarla replied 7 years ago

LOL! Heard about these on our national public radio on my drive home from the train station. Wondered how long it would be before a Fabber posted about them!

Weren't jeans with plastic patches on the derrière around several years back?

  • JAileen replied 7 years ago

I saw these on Nordstrom, too. Wow - I wonder if they'll sell any?

  • Joy replied 7 years ago

Knees, the new erogenous zone? ?

  • Firecracker (Sharan) replied 7 years ago

Those are . . . different! Ha hahaha!

  • Diana replied 7 years ago

Ha I saw those earlier and was wondering if someone would post them.

Any so called sexy factor from the bare knees is totally erased (and more) by the plastic! I wonder if it makes that crunchy plastic noise too.

  • rachylou replied 7 years ago

Oh no... not clear. But maybe in a solid or patterned plastic... ;)

  • DonnaF replied 7 years ago

Wonder if the knees could take dry erase markers?  Nothing like a discrete note to oneself.

  • Emily K replied 7 years ago

Rachylou--how about with the craziest patterned tights underneath?  I actually think that might be kinda cool. (Not for me...but for somebody!)

  • Lisa Rayes replied 7 years ago

Hahaaaa! brave move. you will need guts to wear this funny design.

  • RobinF replied 7 years ago

Emily that's an idea! Patterned tights underneath! I saw a post about these on Facebook, too crazy for me.

  • Greyscale replied 7 years ago

A friend of a friend designed this amazing response. She's an actual designer and you can actually buy them, but I don't think she's expecting anyone to!

Haha, I saw these last week. Lmao. What won't they think of next?

  • Aziraphale replied 7 years ago

Greyscale: I just clicked on your link. More uncontrolled laughter. :-)
