Spiegel lemmings roll call: Post your pics here!

Since everyone is getting their jackets now, I thought I would post a roll call to collect everyone's pics in one thread! Big fun!

And since the jacket is now down to $24, I ordered five in various sizes for my two sisters, my sister in law, mom, and teenage niece for Christmas presents. I used the HELLO15 code to get 15% off and Big Crumbs for an additional 4.2% off. That's about $20 each for a leather jacket. Wow! We are going to have fun being a biker chick gang this Christmas!

ETA: And feel free to post any leather jacket pic if you don't have the Spiegel--thanks lyn!

Your family reunions are gonna be awesome :3

I have no lemming jacket to show you, so I'll just post a pic of a leather jacket. LOL.

  • rae replied 10 years ago

Hehe, yes, you need a group photo of everyone wearing their jacket to hang on a wall someplace!

  • goldenpig replied 10 years ago

That's awesome, lyn, you look great in your black leather jacket! You too, Rae!

I'm wondering if I should buy some pink poodle skirts for us to wear under our jackets so we can be the Pink Ladies.

  • lyn* replied 10 years ago

I'd be in for a pink poodle skirt!

  • deb replied 10 years ago

Love the lemming family photo idea. But, I will not wear a poodle skirt. My mom and I had matching poodle skirts when I was little. Oh, but here are my poodles.

  • Lantana replied 10 years ago

Such a cute idea Nathalie, I was hoping to see them all on one thread.

  • goldenpig replied 10 years ago

    Thanks Lantana!
Deb, actual poodles definitely count! What cuties! And I would love to wear matching poodle skirts with my daughter--how fun!
Maybe I'm getting mixed up, I guess in Grease the guys were the ones who wore the moto jackets, the ladies had pink satin jackets. But I think they would go well together!

Jackets are looking good ladies:)  I bit the bullet and the lovely Amiable has ordered me one.  Won't have it for a while but when I do, you will be the first to see it.

This is not the Spiegel jacket, but it's very close - so close I have convinced myself that the Spiegel jacket is redundant.

Excuse the bedhead and no makeup!

  • alltumbledown replied 10 years ago

Ok, I am officially in love with this jacket. I'm a 6/8, in jackets I tend to an 8 because of my large chest but have sizing issues because of my narrow shoulders. Is it roomy enough that I could get away with the 6? I'll likely wear it unfastened most of the time, anyway...

  • goldenpig replied 10 years ago

Can't wait to see yours, Deborah! Cinnamon Fern, I can't believe that's not the Spiegel--it looks just like it! You look great!

Alltumbledown, the jacket tends to run large. If you plan to wear it open I think the 6 should work.

Here's mine.  Not styled at all, and it's too hot to wear it right now, but I love it!

  • AviaMariah replied 10 years ago

I just got mine the other day.  I really like it and am planning on keeping it!

  • Jjsloane replied 10 years ago

Since you've convinced me to stick with it here's mine only tried on and styled once in a sad copy of Rae's cool outfit.

  • Jaime replied 10 years ago

I can only say WOW x number of jackets on this thread!

  • DeniseP replied 10 years ago

    This is too funny, GP!
I jumped on the bandwagon and ordered three of these jackets too, using the HELLO15 code. For roughly twenty bucks a jacket, it was hard to turn down. But, what is the Big Crumbs discount you mentioned?

  • DeniseP replied 10 years ago

Shevia, I agree! Can't recall who initiated all this madness, maybe Rae?
But, Spiegel should give her a prize!

  • peekaboo replied 10 years ago

Here's mine!  Can't wear it yet, but I am looking forward to it.

  • deb replied 10 years ago

Wow, Peekaboo, yours looks so good snapped. I do not see any wrinkles.

  • texstyle replied 10 years ago

Looking forward to November when maybe it will be cool enough to wear!

  • replied 10 years ago

Wow, everybody looks fantastic. Do you think this is the type of item that works for pretty much all style personas?

  • Makrame replied 10 years ago

All of these look really good!  I also ordered one but have not received it yet.

  • Eliza replied 10 years ago

Awesome looks all- and very fun!

  • replied 10 years ago

Does anyone else have photos?  Thanks!

  • replied 10 years ago

These are unstyled but here you go!

  • Beth Ann replied 10 years ago

Mine's on the way!  Hope it fits!

  • Von replied 10 years ago

This jacket is too cute, exactly what I need for the fall...but they only have a size 10 (which is med, they say).  How does this fit? I'm rather busty and usually wear a 12-14 in blazers...  Do I get it for the great price and go ahead and lose the weight I'm supposed to be losing so I can fit, or is the 10 going to be on the small side because it's misses?

    Decisions, decisions!

  • alyssaisacat replied 10 years ago

Thank you so much for posting this! I've been on the lookout for an affordable (aka on sale) leather jacket for a year now, and this one is GORGEOUS. There was only one size left when I ordered it, so I hope it fits haha. Thanks again!

    ETA: Von, that's what I did. ;)

  • pastrygirl replied 10 years ago

Opened minutes ago! I went with the 8 and it's a tiny bit tight in the underarm, but felt better after a few minutes. This will be great over sleeveless tops, which is what I was hoping for! I also like it with all but that weird snap snapped (second pic).

  • Mo replied 10 years ago

    My double lemming :D

  • FlorenceFearne replied 10 years ago

This struck me as so funny I had to share. I was just looking through my fashion inspiration folder and all of a sudden I thought, "Wait a minute... is that... that's the Spiegel jacket!"

*No idea where this lovely lass is from - a reverse image search turned up no source. :(

  • Deborah replied 10 years ago

For posterity! Mine arrived today;). Not styled but here it is.
