  Thinking about it, I don't have huge amounts of clothing in my favourite colours to wear - that's interesting *ponders*

  Interesting question-

  My favorite colors are:
  1. dark blue
  2. pink (any shade)

  My favorite colors to wear are: (in no specific order)
  1. pink
  2. purple
  3. navy
  4. orange

  Purple and orange were both added just last year. Before that, my wardrobe was 95% black & gray, 3% brown, and 2% pink & blue. Color frightens me, but I'm trying to get over that. I've been using the suggested color palette from my seasonal color analysis to experiment with new colors. My resolution for 2012 is to conquer my fear of color, and I just realized that I'm already failing miserably. I've made two purchases for spring and both items are navy- Dang it, this is harder than I thought it would be!

  I used to wear mostly black, but since I had my colors done last year, I've figured out that's not the best color for me. I've always liked color, but now it's easier because "my colors" mix and match together better. Anyway, my favorites to wear now are:
  1. blue
  2. green
  3. grey
  4. purple
  5. burgundy
  (all mid-toned cool) :-) Funny thing, I've always loved blue, but quit wearing it much becasue it didn't work well with black--I know, some blues do... But turns out that blue is my best color! Yay for color!

  Hmm...

  Well, to wear:

  black
  green (olive, emerald or forest)
  teal
  denim blue (I wear a ton of it!)
  magenta

  Though really I don't get excited about a color. I usually am about color combos. Lately I've been on about yellow/purple and orange/blue. Or orange/magenta. I love the complimentary nature. Oh, and magenta/brown. That looks like food to me. YUM!

  My faves in general are:

  lime green
  red - all varieties
  teal and it's greener cousins
  orange
  robin's egg blue

  It changes once in awhile (and hues change seasonally), but right now:

  Orange (all variations from rust to safety), grey, red, blue, white (I know this is the absence of color but I count it)
  In general:
  Blue (sometimes turquoise sometimes peacock, sometimes royal), Red, green, orange, black

  I have quite a bit of black, just because it "goes" with everything.

  But my favorite to wear are;

  Teal
  Deep berry
  Deep purple
  Charcoal grey
  Olive
  Navy

  It struck me the other day that I don't wear primary colors much.

  The following may make me happy :

  Yellow
  Orange/Saffron
  Turquoise
  Cobalt blue
  Red

  I will wear these as accents, leather bracelets, scarves, a shoe or bag, and so on.

  ETA : I went over my limit to 6....but I just can't decide which to drop.

  in general, it's the same with the addition of brown and purple

  I'm also a big fan of black and white photography, but don't wear any white and very little black.

  Andrea,

  pink sky and sunset sky are not real names, I made them up.

  They came to mind, though, when, sometimes in the early dawn hours of the morning when the sun is rising, there's a shade of pink against either a gray or blue sky -- it's awesome...

  And sunset sky is when we vacation at FLA beach, and watch the sun drop into the water every evening, it lights up the sky with a firery coral, red, orange...and I'm awestruck.

  greens from olive to forest
  blues (sapphire or cobalt mostly)
  true red
  berry purple
  blush to taupey pinks

  Not sure I have any other color likings? Like car colors? Or your couch or something? Our cars are forest green and red and the house is purple, blue and red. Nothing different, I suppose.

  I should add that the house we are renting is largely lemon yellow and like a faded lime green and we hate it!! Can't wait to move home :)

  Hmm...this is fun to think about! I've never had my colours done and have no idea what actually looks good on me. I wear what I like. But I wonder if those colours actually suit me? Anyway!

  Angie, I think I have always liked rust. One of my very favorite tops is a mock turtleneck top from INC, it's at least 20 years old but I kept wearing it all these years, even now. Even though it's worn and fraying at the neckline I'm refusing to get rid of it until I find a perfect replacement. And I have an orange hoodie that I always wear when I go to the airport. But it wasn't till I started shopping for these new clothes that I realized how much I liked rust, since I kept accumulating more and more pieces in that color--two coats, sweater, poncho, jeans, cords, skirt, sandals, etc. I could wear an entire outfit in rust, head to toe!
