What is your signature/favorite clothes store?

What is your favorite clothes store? What store's style best matches your own? If you had to stick to shopping at one store, which one would it be?

Previously I would have said Ann Taylor, with Banana Republic a close second (but I haven't shopped at those stores in a long time so I don't know if that still holds true). When I was pregnant, it was Japanese Weekend all the way. Now, I'm not sure...probably Nordstrom, since I got a bunch of stuff there at NAS and I love their easy return policy. I don't know enough about the different departments to narrow it down to which one is my style yet. I'd love to say Anthropologie, but a lot of their stuff is very hit or miss...some of it can be pretty hideous looking on me (or in general). I think I'm definitely in their target market though! And H&M has great cheaper stuff, but still takes a lot of digging (I think I may be a bit older than their target audience). I'm still trying to figure out my new style!

Nordstrom all the way unless there is something I really, really want and Nordstrom doesn't carry it or can't order it for me, then I default to other options. If I can give Nordstrom my business, I will. They are so much more service oriented than other luxury department stores which I will not name, but I am sure you know who they are.

I'm team bargain so Nordstrom Rack. I cannot go a week without one (or more) visits to make sure I"m not missing something great.

At this point in my life H&M. Hopefully in the future Banana Republic and Jcrew.

Zara. Bar none. I love the European sophistication and the quality of their materials.

Nordstrom! I never shopped there until discovering YLF. Their customer service can't be beat.

Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. I don't shop anywhere else these days.

Maurice's, simply because their clothes are closer to how I'd like to dress at this age without going too much in either direction and are in my price range. Close second starting to be Old Navy. Heh, my favorite use to be Hot Topic.

No Nordies near me, bummer, but I love Coldwater Creek and Kohls!

Goodwill! Eh, but if I could, Allsaints & Abercrombie (jackets).

I think my favourite store: which fits my style (& I'm most likely to fall in love with items in) is 'Warehouse' - which is in the UK

It has beautiful clothes in current styles made to a good standard in great materials & they last.

My second favourite is All Saints for their tailoring & printed fabrics (but the prices are quite steep so I try to buy in the Sales).

Most of my clothes are from Value Village (thrift) -- and I have a lot of designer and good name brands from them. I can't really say that I really like a particular store b/c I tend to get around to several. Sometimes I like the store's designs one season and not the next. Sometimes I like a particular item but not the rest of them (ex: I tend not to like Abercrombie so much, but I have 6 tank tops from them, or I prefer JCrew for cardigans, etc.). Stores I check out frequently include: Tristan (Canada), JCrew, and RW&Co (Canada) -- actually there are many, many more...

I shop a lot at MANGO. I think they have exactly what I'm looking for, which is a mixture of youthful clothing together with a classic element and more of a mature side than the other shops I normally visit. That said, a friend of mine told me a few weeks ago that I am an H&M girl, but I don't think so. Who knows.
