WIB at NAS including UWP wild cards

I was only able to shop in store for 2 hours at the beginning of presale. I ordered a bunch of things online but am returning most of it after trying it on at home. Here is what I've kept. Some wild card UWP like pieces including the Zella jacket, Vince mesh tank, Karen Kane cardigan with leather sleeves, the silver puffer, and punk zipper jeans. The Paige Edgemont jeans were not on sale, but they fit the best of the many different pairs of jeans I tried (thanks for the recommendation UmmLila). My belly bulge limited a lot of items including the R&B gilet and Halogen sleeveless tunic and wrap dresses, which I guess is a good thing because I had to really edit. I ended up with four pairs of higher waist jeans (one distressed, one non-distressed, one burgundy (thanks for the rec Angie!) and one white--guess I'm into skinnies lately!) to accommodate my food baby, two graphic tees, two tank tops which skim over the belly, two cardigans, and two puffy jackets (one short, one long). It all looks like a black and white capsule, doesn't it? Let me know what you think of these pieces on me! Thanks!

1-2. Zella jacket
3-4. Vince mesh tank
5-6. Karen Kane cardigan and burgundy Jen7 jeans
7. Laundry silver puffer
8. Halogen sweater
9-14. Paige Edgemont jeans with zippered pockets
14-16. AG Leggings jeans with distressing

17. Vince Camuto floral top and white Kut Diana jeans (size up from my previous white Diana pair)

Great items. I think I love everything and a special love for the jeans and jackets. Perfect!

It is a black and white capsule, isn't it? I like it and think you'll find your purchases to be incredibly versatile, not only with each other but the rest of your wardrobe. Confession: seeing you wearing the Halogen cardigan in an earlier post prompted me to click the buy button. You look so casual and smart. I got mine a few days ago and I love it!

I think the Halogen long drape sweater is great on you -- to the point it's making me want to try it on!

It looks like you got some great items.  I especially like the Vince mesh overlay blouse on you.

I really love 1, 7 and 8. That Halogen cardigan is gorgeous!  I can't comment on the fit of the jeans - either my eyes aren't sharp enough anymore, or the pictures are a little dark on my screen....I can never tell one from the other anymore :)  The graphic tee's are cute too.

Did you get the Kale tee? When I first saw it I showed it to my husband and we both laughed.

I got the grey puffer after seeing yours. The only thing is the zipper on the front edge of the hood. Does that bother you? The rest of the puffer is very soft. I also lemming ordered the North Face puffer, so when it gets here I'll compare them.

#3, 6, 8, 9, 14 and 17 are the standouts for me, Natalie. I LOVE the Vince mesh top and striped cardi especially.

Both the puffers are keepers, especially the Laundry. That one is a magic cut!!

I really love the Halogen sweater on you, to the point where I was seriously tempted to buy as well. But the last time I bought something that tempted me on you it turned out to be a mistake (Pleione split neck mixed media tunics which I loved on you so much I had to have TWO even though Angie said they wouldn't work for me... and was right.)

Anyway. I'm holding tight here and not buying but I am glad you have it.

Jeans -- like LIsa I'm struggling a bit to see the fit but I say if they feel good and you think they are doing what you want them to, YES.

I like the tanks -- the Vince one looks quite interesting -- I can't figure out the fabrication but the texture is nice.

Great choices, Natalie; they'll help you feel better on weekends for the MOTG life. It's so important to be able to pop something on and go in that situation.

Love the Zella, the striped cardigan, and the AGs!!

My 13 year old daughter got those two graphic tees. I LOVE them on both of you. Such fun! You look fantastic in everything, I tried that Halogen cardi and it looked so drab on me, but looking at it on you, I think maybe I should try it again a size or two down.

These all look so great on you--there's nothing I don't like. As others have said, I want the Halogen cardi after seeing it one you. The Vince mesh top is so cool. Also love the Karen Kane cardi and the Vince Camuto blouse--beautiful print.

I like your choices here and I'm glad the Edgemonts worked out well for you.

So glad you got the Vince mesh top.  When I saw it in the store, I immediately thought it was your style.

Gosh, more stuff I missed! Love the UWP items so much - and the puffer is such a good score.

  • Joy replied 7 years ago

I have last year's NAS Laundry puffer in a light silvery gray and love it. After a winter season of heavy wear it is starting to shed down on the inside.
You look wonderful in your choices. I especially like the cardigan in #8.

Wow! You have a great eye! These items are KAPOW! Perfect for you! I love each and every one of them. I hope you enjoy them. I look forward to seeing your posts as you incorporate these into your wardrobe.

These look like great finds to me. The jeans seem to fit well. I am a cardigan lover and I do love both of these. My favorite look is #17 I think. Love the black and white.
