WIW 2/22 & 2/24: Double shot of lime seltzer

Hi all! I had to take a break from handbag month last week, because I was out of town. We went skiing, ice skating and tubing with the kids. They loved it. DS2 loved tubing and kept saying "Whee!" all the way down. DS1 learned how to ice skate for the first time. And 8 year old DD and 5 year old DS1 are skiing black diamonds already--they are way better than their parents! They were even going down full tilt down the ski jumps.  DS2 can't wait to start skiing when he turns 3 next month.

So back to my challenge of trying to wear all of my handbags...These two dresses are very similar, with blue and green and white bubbles. They remind me of my favorite drink...lime seltzer water. Both also have keyhole necklines. I like them both though, so they're both staying. The first one I got at TJ Maxx for 20 bucks...I get compliments on it every time I wear it. The second one is a Mad Men Banana Republic dress...people like that one a lot too. I bought a matching BR clutch and bracelet to go with the dress. However, clutches are nearly useless for me...I can never fit everything I need in it. So I bought a green and blue satchel from Kate Spade on eBay that works nicely. I can't seem to get rid of the clutch though...it matches the dress exactly and I'm a total sucker for matching accessories.

When I picked DD up from school she had a pretty "ribbon" in her ponytail. Upon closer inspection I discovered she had placed a Kleenex tissue in her hair to look like a ribbon. Very cute and creative!

On you a $20 dress looks like a $600 dress.  You look so polished and luxe.  It's really nice to see you post BTW, how are you?  Can't believe DS2 is growing so quickly, I remember when you were barely pregnant with him at Vicki's house...

So, the past month I have been a temporary "Mom" to my two nieces age 9 and 11 (11 year old is developmentally delayed/somewhat disabled, missing her cerebellum).  Having never had children of my own, I never knew how much work it was.  The driving everywhere, homework help, cooking, cleaning, bathing, bedtime reading etc.  I am exhausted.  And I'm off, not working this entire time!  Sadly they have passed two sicknesses on to me... scabies and a cold.   Was it your husband who calls them "vectors"?   They are so sweet though!

Anyway, I am in total AWE of all of you Moms who do this day in, day out!  While working full time.

Your dresses are great. Your kids are awesome! Your kids will probably be great daredevil skiers. I didn't start until I was in my 30s and was only mediocre at best. Is that Tahoe in #11?

I agree with Denise . Everything you wear looks expensive and gorgeous ! Such pretty dresses and full of colour and fun- I'm living that part vicariously through you. And love the green KS bag .

Fantastic outfits and I am totally with you on clutches not holding enough!  I think your daughter has inherited your great style - the kleenex as a bow is genius.

Dresses are just perfect on you Natalie and that bold green is so Spring-y. Both lovely outfits.

Of course it's hard to concentrate on the outfits when you show us your adorable family :)

Looks like you and your family had a really fun vacation. Welcome back. Your dresses are beautiful. You look amazing in those blue and green shades. I like your Kate Spade satchel and completely understand why it may be more practical for your lifestyle than the lovely but considerably smaller BR clutch.
