WIW 3/15: Winter white/neutrals including cream puffer

It's cold and rainy here so I couldn't resist bringing out my cream puffer another time before it gets too warm. I wore a very white and neutral palette which is very unlike me, but it fits with the winter weather. This skirt is super old and didn't get much love last time I posted it, but I'm hoping now that midis are in that it looks less dated (it's one of my favorite old skirts). And I'm having fun with trying coats over jackets! I know it's a little puffy all layered up, but at least I'm warm and dry!

Thanks for looking and comments and suggestions welcomed!

Lafayette 148 caramel leather jacket
J Crew cashmere blend cream turtleneck
Ann Taylor slate and camel plaid wool midi skirt
Timberland Stratham Heights cognac heeled boots
Anthro Moss Mills bronze leaf belt
Betsey Johnson cream puffer coat
Jack Georges brown leather satchel briefcase

I think the puffer really finishes the look off. Otherwise, it is cute, but seems very demure.

I agree the puffer really adds a modern element to a very classic look... Not that a straight up classic look isn't nice in and of itself some days....

The cream puffer really is the finishing touch! It adds another layer of complexity and the color is oh so flattering to you!

Beautiful Natalie! For someone who wears bright colours so well, it's wonderful that you can also do such a gorgeous neutral palette. I think the skirt is fab and the length is pretty current, at least to my eye. Might as well get some wear out of your puffer while you can!

My hubs would call this a "snow bunny" outfit. I love that you are getting wear out of that puffer - the white looks so fresh with the warm browns.

I like the neutral palette of this outfit. I also like how you've belted the turtleneck. I need to keep that in mind for some of my turtlenecks to change up the look a little.

I also am inspired by your belting the turtleneck. It really makes a difference. You look cozy and warm but with a nod to spring with the light colors.

Very nice!! You are always an inspiration and have the ever elusive (to me) polish. I always enjoy your WIW's.

My, what an extremely elegant colour palette, GP! You look delightful --- I always marvel at and admire people who brighten up a drippy day with a defiantly light-coloured and light-hearted outfit.

I can at best add colour; but this is so much triumphant insouciance, I can't get over it!! Lovely swansong for winter.

    LOVE these colors on you!!!

Oh, the irony! It was 80 degrees in Chicago today -- my teaching studio was so hot (stuffy -- no windows and only one vent) i was literally fanning myself! And here I see an adorable CA girl in a puffer! Seriously, love the bag and the jacket in particular, the whole outfit is terrific!

I will confirm that it was cold, rainy and so un-Spring like here! And a few more days to go sadly.
I like the skirt and the cool wintery palette. The leather jacket and bag and boots are key standouts for me.

Amazing! You do neutrals so well! I like the skirt and I LOVE the coat :)

Hey...we're boot twins! I love those Timberlands...they're great for skinny calves. I tried them in black as well, but the cognac looked so much nicer.

This is a very low-key look for you, but so classic and stylish. I love it!
