WIW 3/2-6: Bumblebee, Pumpkin, Lemon, Turtle

I've worn these outfits before, but still working through my handbag collection, so going with the tried and true! If it's not broke don't fix it!

1-3. Lafayette 148 black silk tank
ASOS black and yellow chevron stripe skirt
Madewell chevron stripe necklace
Kate Spade black and white zigzag stripe bracelet
Dooney & Bourke yellow satchel
Ugg black lace up ballet flats (ankle straps echo the chevron pattern)

4-5. Free People pumpkin poncho
Vince tee
J Brand jeans
H&M bracelet
Frye cognac lace up boots
Fossil floral satchel

6-8. Kate Spade lemon silk sweatshirt
Kate Spade white pants
Kate Spade lemon earrings
Kate Spade lemon tote
Vans white sneakers

9-10. I know I already used this purse earlier this month, but DS2 was having his 3rd birthday party with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme so I wanted to dress in green. Wore a turtle necklace to match the theme. He had a blast and was running and bouncing around in his turtle costume the entire time!

Ann Taylor Loft floral shirt and green sweater, AG jeans, Kate Spade purse, Hawaiian turtle necklace, yellow Converse sneakers

You have great outfits. I love your orange poncho and the matchy lemon purse.
Your ninja is super cute. What a fun birthday party you gave him. Congrats to the little guy and to the proud parents.

How did I miss this thread? I enjoy seeing your colorful theme-based outfits… so creative. I especially love your lemon themed ensemble. It is a lovely breath of Spring. I so want that lemon bag.

What fun!  I love your matchy lemon yellow outfit.  The yellow satchel goes well with the skirt in outfit #1.  Has the challenge changed how you view your handbags in any way?  Are there any that have overstayed their welcome and need to be purged?

Such fantastic outfits! My favorite is the matchy lemons outfit, because I love a great themed outfit - that's so Natalie!

Love your posts! So nice to see you again and you look stylish as ever! Love the lemon/white outfit. I have a Green jacket too and will definitely be wearing it as soon as temps allow for springy outerwear.

So much fun and so much color! I love these posts of yours. If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be Lemon. The pure yellow and white color scheme is so bright and cheerful and refreshing. And your son looks like he had a wonderful party!

LEMON FABNESS. Love #6 and #9 best.

    Super cute as always.

    I love your outfit posts!

Two questions:  Do your lemon earrings face the same way?  Mine are identical and it drives me crazy that the rind faces forward on one ear and backward on the other.

And did you get the polar bear clutch and it is worth me continuing to hunt it down?  The "Admit One" clutch is adorable and I'm keeping it.  I also saw and almost snapped on the ice cream truck one, because it has a strap, but I'm not sure I should have two pastel clutches.

Looks great, I love all the colors and you just get prettier and prettier.

    Thanks so much everyone!
    Sara, a few realizations:
    1. I have too many purses.
    2. I love them all.
    3. I love fun purses. I used to collect a lot of Paul Frank and now that I'm a "grown up" I'm collecting kitschy Kate Spade. I guess I just need to embrace my whimsical side!
    4. I'm so matchy matchy that I end up using my printed purses as part of a specific outfit instead of mixing it up or doing capsules all with one bag. Like the lemon purse, if I want to use it, would I rather wear a plain outfit or wear the lemon shirt with it? Of course the lemon, so I end up not doing much mixing and matching. That's why the purses that I use the most are the plain solids like the black studded satchel, because they're the only ones that go with multiple outfits.
    5. I don't really want to purge any, because I have a hard time letting go and they all go with one of my specific outfits. Even the plain black doctor bag that wasn't as "me" or as fun, I just bought some fun fuzzy bee and ladybug keychains from Kate Spade and I want to try doing the fuzzy bag charm thing.
    6. Realizing 1-5 does not stop me from wanting more purses! Yes, I have a bag problem...

Una, I do hope you can find a polar bear clutch! If not you can borrow mine! It is adorable but totally impractical (see through, no strap) but I still love it! I can't believe you also have the lemon earrings. We really are style twins! Mine face opposite sides so the diamond side faces forward on both. Maybe you could somehow slip the hook out and flip it, to make it face the other way? I did get the ice cream truck one as well. The Admit one is cute, but you can never have enough mint so I say go for it! You should get the Klondike purse too! :)

LOL! I am in the same boat. Perhaps you and I should start a 12-step program for "bag ladies". We may not get beyond the first step, but we will sure have a good time checking out all the fab purses in the room.
