WIW 3/28 & 3/30: White denim jacket, Jason Wu, SYC, A-line for apples

I didn't mean for this to be a "formula" but ended up wearing similar outfits on both days--white denim jacket and Jason Wu for Target top. Both of these tops hadn't been worn yet and I am trying to attack my "unworn items" list, especially as I'm trying (not necessarily succeeding!) to shop my closet.

1-2. MOTG
AE white denim jacket
Jason Wu for Target red and blue and cream striped T
Gap Long and Lean bootcut jeans, hemmed for flats
Red Converse

3-6. Work
AE white denim jacket--not 100% sure about this jacket with this outfit esp. for work, but it was spring-like and nothing else in my closet seemed to work with this outfit. I probably won't wear it at work since it's kind of casual.
JWT mustard sleeveless blouse
Anthro blue, yellow and white floral skirt--this is for you, Shannon, since you didn't think apples can wear A-line skirts! ;)
Calvin Klein V necklace
Anthro Moss Mills bronze leaf belt
Fossil floral satchel
Nude Easy Spirit pumps

I like both of these looks a lot! In fact, I like both tops best WITHOUT the jacket (even though it is fab too). I think the loose cap sleeve style of both tops emphasizes/strengthens your shoulder line in a good way and makes for a very nice silhouette. (This is why I love cap sleeves on myself too).

GP, you're on a roll! I can't pick a favourite because they both look terrific! And so *very* Natalie... Did you say only last week that you can't do pants?

    Love both of these outfits!
The striped top makes a darling MOTG outfit with the jeans and red Converse.

The second one is lovely, fresh and spring-like with the skirt and jeans jacket. I don't love the bag with it, but I'm not big on pattern mixing.

These tops are way too nice to be orphans. Glad to see you're putting them to good use!

I love both outfits. You look so young and cute in the first outfit (not that you don't always look young and cute).

I really like the second outfit too but am not loving the bag with it either. The flower prints are so close in scale that even though they have common colors, it isn't quite right to me. I would sub in a blue bag or a neutral. Other than that one little detail, the outfit is fabulous.

Well there ya go then - Natalie has proven me wrong on the a-line skirt issue! You look lovely in this skirt, although I think I'm WAY more apple-y than you are. I'm also not sure about the bag with this outfit though - it somehow gets kind of lost in the skirt pattern.

I love the casual look in outfit #1 - very nice!

Your MOTG outfit is so fun, and feels like spring. I would want to go to the park with you if I saw you!

And your work outfit is so pretty and fresh. Lovely detail with the necklace echoing your collar.

really like your MOTG look. the sneakers give it that added pizazz!

How spring fresh are you?! #1 is the most relaxed and casual I've seen you, and it looks great! You look mom-fun-and-tumble ready! #2 is ladylike supreme. Both gawgeous!

I love that #3 which is feminine, adult, youthful, fun and colorful all at once!

I love your MOTG outfit. It's perfect. I think the jacket works great with both outfits, though I understand that you might want to take it off at work. The skirt and belt are wonderful together and I love the pattern mix with your bag. :)

Both of these outfits are super cute, and feel so springy! That's a great little white denim jacket.
