WIW 4/25 I scream, you scream, we all scream...

Happy Monday YLF! I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Life is too short to take yourself too seriously! Silly poses with my silly Kate Spade ice cream truck clutch and popsicle coin purse. I bought this because when I was little I wanted to be a librarian and ice cream truck driver (kind of like a bookmobile with ice cream). Bonus fun is that my fellow doctor and officemate (we share an office) had also dressed in hot pink and black and white with mint purse today. Wow--great minds think alike! Anyone else ready for summer?

H&M hot pink cardigan, Sam Edelman white pumps, Kate Spade black and white polka dot dress, KS Clink of Ice necklace, Stella and Dot bracelet, KS ice cream truck purse and popsicle coin purse.

Gosh, are you a doctor on the Mindy Project? Your colleague is a dead ringer!

I love the ice cream purse almost as much as I love your idea for a mobile library/ice cream truck. Genius! Get to work on the business plan immediately.

Fun fact: Rupert Grint used his earnings from Harry Potter to buy an ice cream truck, and so continues to perform as Ron Weasley in real life.

That is the Cutesy D$$N clutch I've ever seen. If you ever think about selling. IJS. Hehahha. I love your collection. Your outfit screams sophisticated but your cross body say I'm a little quirky also. Love the juxtaposition.

    Ridiculously ADORABLE.

    Killer too.

    Too much fun!

I have not been much of a mint person because it's just barely JFE in large amounts, but that is a great combo, with black and hot pink as the strong colors and white and mint both as light relief.
I might really like to try a hint of mint in that way--as a "cool" relief in a small accessory.

Oh yes!  Delicious!  I almost bought this bag too but kept the "Admit One" clutch instead. :D  I LOVE that it has a strap and wish all the KS clutches had that option.

I was at the library just the other day and we were talking about an ice cream truck/book mobile!!

What a perfect combination - the purse is too darn cute! I haven't been around much lately, have you changed your hair? It's beautiful.

I love the fact that you and Una, with totally different styles, locations and lifestyles, share your love of KS bags.  That's YLF at it's best!

You look terrific -- the dress is feminine and very flattering, and your hair is looking great, too (such a great way to "top off" an outfit).

Thanks for sharing your fun items!  I do wish all Docs dressed like you and your colleague!  This post was a perfect break from studying the DSM-5 (for a music therapy board exam next week).........by the time I'm finished I'll be deserving of my own diagnosis!

  • catgirl replied 7 years ago

Beth Ann, I was just reading the DSM-5 for work reasons as well - I found the chapter at the back on cultural issues totally fascinating.

    And yes to an ice-cream-truck-bookmobile!
