WIW 4/29-30: Shorts, polka dot socks and sneakers x2 (hypermatchy)

It's been sunny and hot the last couple days so I went with shorts and sneakers for MOTG. Thanks for your comments!

1. Ahoy! DH said I looked very nautical.

2-6. This is my casual hypermatchy floral outfit (here is dressy hypermatchy)--my Ann Taylor floral top fits right in with my Kate Spade floral accessories. And I did even more matching with the polka dot socks and bracelet. Yes I know it's OTT, but I was having fun! (And DD was having fun too, wearing her striped peplum top and floral pants).

    Fantastic MOTG outfits and I don't mind hyper-matchy at all because you do it so well. I look at you in your sneaker outfits and it makes me very tempted to try sneakers for the first time because you look feminine and non sporty which is what I would aim for. Thanks for the inspiration Natalie :)

    You look A-MAZING in both these and the dress one (and your DD is SO ADORABLE! OMG how totally adorable!).

    You know what I think? My guess is that hyper-matchy is either currently IN, or about to be in. Or at least the way you do it seems totally current to my eye, and I tend to cringe inwardly whenever I see old-fashioned matchy. I think there is something qualitatively different about your outfits vs out-of-fashion 'matchy-matchy'. You are not the only fashion blogger to be wearing hyper-matchy outfits. I think you're at the trendsetting end of the fashion curve.

    Wow, these are uber-matchy but the pattern mixes keep it totally modern and cool.  You are inspiring.  My fave is the socks and sneakers!

    You both look adorable in your pattern-mixing and I'm with Una; I love the socks and sneakers.  Hey, we live in the same state and it hasn't been that hot here.  How did you make that happen?  You look great and will have all M'sOTG taking notice!

    You look adorable and I am often thinking that your daughter has a quite amazing fashion sense herself, especially since you often mention she chose an outfit herself. A sophisticated and fearless pattern mixer she is, just like mom.
