WIW 5/13: Mother's Day

Sorry this is a repeat outfit--I only have a few casual MOTG outfits, compared to my big dressy work wardrobe. I spent a fun and relaxing day with DH and the kids. DH cooked breakfast including crepes with homemade chocolate sauce, bananas & berries. After swim lessons we had an Indian buffet lunch, then took the kids to ride their trike/bike. DD drew a cute card for me and both of them gave me lots of hugs and kisses. We skyped with Grandma & Nana as well.

Hope your Mother's Day was great too!

    Very cute outfit! And cute family too. You are so blessed.

    You know the more I look at you the more I think you would look very good in a bob. Have you ever considered it? What you have now is very pretty, but I know from previous posts that you were looking for a change.

    Krish, I have done a short bob before (I donated my hair to Locks of Love a couple of years ago). But since I usually don't have time to blow dry and style it, it hangs straight and I feel like it makes me look even younger than when I have long hair. What do you think?

    Actually I haven't had a haircut since last fall so I'm definitely overdue for a trim.

    No, DH likes me better with longer hair so I think I'm going to keep it long for now. But I definitely have been neglecting my hair--I never seem to have time to make a salon appointment. Debating just popping into the Supercuts.

    Have you ever cut your hair short Rae?

    Priceless! Looks like you had a fun Mother's Day! You are getting a lot of wear from the fun Jason Wu items - great for MOTG. Glad you kept them.

    Light layers for your long hair to add more body - I SO don't think you should cut your lovely hair short. It frames your face nicely and is a good classic balance for your ever-changing variety of fun and stylin' outfits!

    I think you could keep it long but add a few light layers and go up just an inch or two - in the picture with hubby in white shirt and tie and the kiddos you have a mid length bob that looks great on you.

    Looks like you had a perfectly stress free Mother's Day and some good times as a family. Your kids are just the most adorable little people ever!
