WIW 6/2: Edgy at work--red snake, leather pencil skirt and Ollies

I have to admit I was a little worried that the black leather and pointy studded spike heels etc. were too edgy and/or sexy for work, but I got a lot of positive comments, especially about the shoes! I'm just toeing the edge of work appropriate clothes with my black studded Ollies! Hopefully it's still polished enough to pass muster. Oh and DD wanted in on the fashion selfie action too...she chooses her own clothes and is wearing one of her favorite dresses and black sparkly leggings.

The Shirt red snake shirt, Halogen black leather pencil skirt, Sam Edelman Ollie black studded heels (and one fashion-savvy staff member commented on the resemblance to Valentino Rockstuds!), F21 bracelet (so many people love this bracelet! It was less than $10!), Karl Lagerfeld black watch, Michael Kors black studded satchel, Alexis Bittar necklace.

Love this outfit GP. Just the right amount if edge. I've been eyeing those Olies, so it's good to see them in action on someone. Esp considering comments about them not fitting well at the ankle. Yours obviously do.

Do you have a link for the shirt? Or is it older?

Pretty outfit on dd too :).

Usually I'm not a big fan of unrelieved red and black but this outfit is fab! Your style is moving in a new direction. You are wise to let your little girl pick her own outfits. She is learning from a pro while expressing herself. It will be fun to see how her choices evolve.

I love this outfit! I really like how you kept the shirt untucked and added all the edgy elements!

    Thanks Elizabeth, Joy & MsKatieKat!
Elizabeth, I have skinny ankles and it doesn't seem to be a problem. The red python shirt is from The Shirt by Rochelle Behrens. It's old, but they still sell it in multiple colors, including fuchsia:

Joy, it's fun to watch DD make her own clothing choices! She is really developing her own fashion sense!
MsKatieKat, I was worried it was too edgy for work but I guess it's Just Edgy Enough, LOL!

I could wear this exact outfit!  Same shirt, similar skirt, same shoes.  However, I can't get away with those shoes at work.  What a fun look for you, Natalie - you are always polished with your hair and sleekness.
