WIW 6/4: Agate dress with aqua sneakers for anniversary (& new hair pics)

I am having lots of fun with my trio of new sneakers! This week I wore all three pairs to work with "normal" outfits. Definitely got lots of comments about the dresses with matching sneakers--a novelty around here, for sure! They think I'm starting a new trend! Just call me Sporty Spice!

I pulled out a new orange purse that I initially had thought was too sporty for work, but now it's perfect with the sneakers! And I got a new Fitbit to track my running/activity, so naturally I had to get the accessory wristband set in different colors and wore the orange one to match the purse! Also, matching dragonfly necklace and dragonfly bracelet. As you know, I really love matchy matchy repeating elements in my outfits, be it colors or patterns or motifs. Maybe it's a little bookending OCD, but I really like symmetry!

I went for a long overdue haircut, and big hair confession--I also colored my hair for the first time! I was getting lots of grays...too many to keep plucking. She kept my natural hair color but used a semi-permanent dye to turn the gray hairs into golden highlights. I was so nervous because I had never colored my hair before, but it came out really well and my hair seemed very soft and shiny afterward, not dry or frizzy at all. Best of all, no one noticed or commented at all--not even my husband! At first I was surprised, but then I realized the best compliment is that it looks so natural no one even notices!

DH and I went out for dinner to celebrate our 15th anniversary (because he was on call for our actual anniversary), so I just swapped out the sneakers and orange purse for a jeweled clutch and heels.

(Also re-posting the corresponding workout outfit with the aqua sneakers).

You look wonderful and radiant! No shame in the hair color. I add unnatural colors so I feel like in not just covering grey...

I have really been wanting to wear sneakers like this with a more tailored pants outfit. LOVE how they look with the dress.

Hair looks fab!  I love turquoise and orange together, and the turquoise and yellow is great too.  Kitty photobombs again for the win!  Happy belated anniversary to you and your hubby.  You make such a beautiful couple.

Happy anniversary! Your hair looks great, and so does that dress.

I just got a Fitbit too, although I'm doing the bra clipping thing for mine.

Wow! This dress - the cut and colour - is gorgeous on you! I also like your new hairstyle a lot! I also liked how you wore the dress with sneakers! I may need to copy since I'm finding ways to wear sneakers more often due to arthritis.

The blue pumps look fab as well and I like the contrast of the orange bag!

How amazing you look!  Love the sneaks and you new 'do.  Semi-permanent color is definitely the way to go with just a few greys!

You look amazing in every outfit combo. Plus the colours are incredible on you (love the dragonfly jewellery and the accessories). Great haircut and colour too.

Your hair looks lovely.  And certainly no judgement from me on hair colour (Ive been colouring mine for so long Im not sure I know what colour my hair really is:)

The dress is gorgeous and so flattering on you.  I must confess I struggle with the sneakers worn this way but you carry it off well.
