WIW 6/5 Ruffle hem and K/R white crop boyfriend Catherines

I already posted this outfit previously, but this is the only ruffle/peplum top I have. I tried it with several other bottoms, but ended up using the same black midi tube skirt again because it worked so much better than pants. Went with spots/dots for the accessories theme including little origami dog keychain. Hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Also K/R on these white boyfriend Catherine jeans. Somehow they don't look as good on me as on the model. Why are the leg openings so big on me? Anyone have any suggestions or should I return?

    Love the peplum. Vote return on the jeans. They look like they're too long in the rise to me or something.

    Love your peplum top + tube skirt, Natalie, and your jewellery is spot on. So fab! The origami dog chain is too cute for words.

    I have several pairs of the Catherine BFs and the leg opening is indeed wider than shown on the model. It works out for me because it looks more balanced with my less than delicate ankles. I have had the leg opening tailored in the past on a different pair of jeans and that worked out well, so that's always an option. But I'm also wondering if the fit is a little off elsewhere too. Would it be possible to try the next size down, perhaps?

    I have to agree with Inge, the white jeans look too big and need to be sized down. You look wonderful in your top with tube skirt and matching accessories.

    Yeah, the bf looks more like a pair of too big straight jeans than bf - that said, I've never liked Bf jeans on me so I tend towards the negative when I see a pair.

    I think the jeans may be too long in the rise for you. I know that's my issue with that jean, although they fit many here very well. The top looks great. I tried a gap girlfriend in white (tall) that is not too skinny and not too slouchy. I still haven't figured out how to get the pic, so attaching the link.

    First outfit is great! 

    I just tried these jeans too and they didn't work for me either. I think I need a slimmer cut, lower rise and lighter weight.

    I ordered those jeans and just returned them too. Something about them was not right, even though they look good on Angie and so many others. I wonder if this season's cut is just different?

    The first look is fab .... Try something else for jeans ... citizens emerson slim boyfriend jeans maybe.
