WIW 6/8: Mice Will Play (Karie copy denim jacket + stripes + maxi skirt + Cons)

Angie said that she's going to be off the forum for a couple of days and I joked that I was going to bring out my Crocs. When the cat's away...the mice will play! So I brought out my maxi skirt, in a Karie-inspired denim jacket + striped shirt + maxi skirt + Cons outfit that she posted in Ingunn's dress week summary. I know a lot of you have poison eyes for maxis, but I think they're fun!

My matchy matchy side likes to match accessories and bookend, so I paired:
navy and white stripe shirt with navy and white polka dot socks
silver circles bracelet with silver circles necklace
orange maxi skirt with orange slice bag

    I do like maxi's, I just don't happen to have any!  The orange is fab on you, that's not a color just anyone can pull off!

    Full marks for having fun with fashion!
    I'm no great fan of maxis when they present a bloc of colour that dominates; yours doesn't, thanks to the crinkle fabric.

    I have to tell you that I really think this is so cute! Probably biased by the fact that this is something I could so see myself wearing... Those cons, the colours, the denim jacket and the stripes and polka dots... these are a few of my favourite things! Gorgeous! And your hair looks so fab too!

    Oh wow! I was the inspiration!?!  When I first read the title, my initial reaction was, "There's someone else here with my name and spelling?" You have made my day :)

    And you look gorgeous in your maxi! I love the color. Those polka dot socks and orange bag are sending me over the moon - now I am going to have to copy you!
