WIW 9/1: MOTG cardi/dress/leggings at the train fair

I took the kids to a train fair with my sister and her two kids today. I wore a dress that Mo kindly gave me several months ago (thanks Mo!)--it's an empire waist printed dress with black, white and red chevron stripes. It's not a maternity dress, but it sure works well for maternity! I wore it with black Nike capri leggings and a red White House Black Market cardigan and black Cole Haan wedge sandals and my Fossil chevron stripe bag. Perfectly simple and comfy for a pregnant MOTG! (Oh and don't worry, I wasn't pushing the stroller with 4 kids, LOL!) The kids had a blast, especially DS who is completely train crazy!

Thanks for looking and commenting!

This is indeed a great maternity silhouette and I like the cropped sweater proportion with the empire waist. I would think you could rock many a tunic and cropped and regular length leggings looks Natalie. You have the legs!!!

    It's time to enable...

And in case you have $650 to spare, this would look much better with a bump than it does on this model: http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/ri.....tback=5891

Ummm don't you just love all of those expensive tunics, after I suggested shopping at TJ Maxx during pregnancy? ;-)

Thanks Denise! Those tunics look awesome! I love the red one especially. My SIL said she was going to bring me some of her maternity clothes next month and someone on my mommy board generously offered to donate some of her maternity clothes to me so I'm going to wait and see what I get! And I might be able to stretch out my regular sweaters (at least until my tummy gets huge). But for sure I'm bookmarking these in case I need some longer tunics! Thanks! (And I agree, that $650 sweater definitely needs a bump to fill it out!)

Train Fair? So cool!! I want to go with DH! There is a Train Town near us, but they obviously always have the same trains. Your whole family is so adorable, even with the blurred faces. :D

You are looking great and the kids look like they are riding a train in that stroller. I had a son who loved everything train and we owned every book I could find that involved trains or an engine. He's sit for hours to be read to from one of those books, a huge help while I was nursing his baby brother.
