I was excited to see Angie's casual/dressy plaid ensemble! Actually I had already done a version of this a month ago, when I wore the Equipment plaid shirt with navy lace pencil skirt to work and then swapped out for pajama jeans and wedge sneakers for MOTG (1-2):

So I tried another version with my red Treasure & Bond plaid shirt (3-5). Yes, I have this DVF lace skirt in two colors! This shirt is cotton so it's even more casual than the silk shirt. It's kind of pushing the envelope of work appropriateness, especially the casual plaid shirt combined with the edgier necklace and studded heels, but hopefully it works. I got a lot of comments from my patients on the "cute shoes". Swapped out the skirt and heels for ripped jeans and sneaks again at home.

I also wore this plaid shirt with moto leggings and peep toe booties in July (6):

So I'm all over this plaid trend! That's not even including the two pairs of plaid pants and the plaid sweater I also bought at NAS! Hope you don't get sick of me wearing plaid!

You look great in these plaid outfits, Natalie! I like how you go from work to home with them. Today's is bolder, but still professional in my opinion. Maybe we need a new term: JPE (just professional enough)?

I like all of them, but I think 1 with the lace and 6 with the peep toes are my favorites. I hope I don't have to break down and get a plaid shirt after all...

Wow, these are fabulous on you, Natalie! I am comparing them to your early very ladylike looks. Equally fab, both ways, but I sense a real relaxation into your style. It's not just a question of mixing it up, playing with your shadow style, or developing weekend and casual travel capsules (though you are a pro at all of that, too.) It's more that you're finding ways to make your style preferences and personas live happily together in one gorgeous package!!

And oh how I love those booties. If I lived in your climate they would be mine.
