WIW: Camo twins, Flora Mortis, Stella and Dot

Two casual outfits, one each with my two new watches. The first one was for a day off; I was volunteering at DS1's school. We wore matching camo pants (I usually do matchy matchy with DD, so it's fun to do matchy matchy with DS1 too)! The other one was with my Allsaints Flora Mortis tee and my black watch.  For both of them I wore my new necklace and bracelets from Stella and Dot. It's a direct sales company. I really like their jewelry and handbags and am thinking about joining as a stylist. I would get a discount on their jewelry and credits based on how much was purchased at trunk shows. Does anyone have any experience with this company, or other direct sales companies? I'm pretty busy with work and the kids, but this would be fun as a side hobby as long as it doesn't take too much time. Kind of like my Dress for Success volunteering. I can't quit my job and become a stylist like Rae, but this is the next best thing. What do you think? Thanks for your advice!

Super cute matchy matchy! Great casual outfits and I love how you add fun with the necklace and bracelets.

I have no clue about the stylist thing, but if you find time it would be a great hobby and you could probably try out a lot of different styles for fun.

I love the Stella and Dot jewelry too. I don't know much about their sales practices. Other home based businesses can require a significant financial investment in product, and that's a nuisance, because styles change and you can be stuck with a lot of items that just won't sell.

You are one stylish MOTG! Love the camo outfit in particular. Don't you just love a denim jacket?

I love Stella and Dot Jewellery and you have styled it so well. The outfit is casual with camo skinnies and denim jacket but the jewellery makes it dressy.

What Shannon said. You are one heck of stylish MOTG, Natalie.

Love the matching camo pants. If I had a daughter - I would match her too.

Oh that floral tee is like the perfect lovechild and your ladylike tendencies with UWP shadow self! :D

My only knowledge of businesses like that is an expose I read once about Mary Kay and bad its practices were for the majority of home sellers, so I would be inclined to be cautious. But I've no clue about Stella & Dot.

We've had a number of Stella and Dot sales at our office, as fundraising events, but I don't know much about it.

I love that you were matchy with your son...that's too cute!

I think I have the same black watch- is it Vince Camuto? I liked it so much that I got it in silver and in rose gold too. I am wearing the silver one today.

So cute! I love that the jewelry did double-duty and looks equally perfect with both outfits. Great examples of stylish casual outfits that are easy to move in.

Love the glam touch that your accessories and watch bring to these causal outfits.  You look terrific Natalie, and love that you play matchy with your DS, so adorable.

As for the direct sales company, one thing I heard about these organizations is to see where their focus is.  If their main focus is on getting you to sign up other sellers, this kind of a MLM (multi-level marketing) company comes with a red flag.  It means that the majority of revenue is going to relatively few people early in the food chain.  I considered a makeup company once (not Avon, can't remember the name) and rejected it for this reason.  If, on the other hand, they are structured more like Avon or Tupperware, where they sell a quality product and selling it is more important to signing up new reps, then it's a better choice.  They are all considered MLM organizations but some are better than others.
