WIW: Happy July 4! Red, white and blue

I love theme dressing so I couldn't resist dressing in red, white and blue, just like Angie's post talked about. My sisters and their kids came over to our house to celebrate July 4 and my upcoming birthday (since I'll be on call at work on my actual birthday). One of my sisters did everyone's makeup for fun. And she brought sparklers and balloons for the kids and cupcakes for my birthday. We all had a great time!

Gap blue denim polka dot shirt
Jason Wu for Target Milu tee
Kut from the Kloth red jeans
Red Converse
White House Black Market red snakeskin bag
Anthro red corset trench

PS DD carefully selected her own outfit in #2. She would not let me make her outfit match ours (she said, "it is red, white and blue--there's red and white in the pants and blue in the T shirt!". You can see she's even more daring with her pattern mixing than her mom!

Happy early birthday! I didn't know it was coming up, Natalie - we will have to give you belated Bday hugs when you come to LA! :D

I really love your RWB outfit - I think maybe red jeans are more my style than white. Very cool with the chambray shirt!

Cute! I always wear red, white, and blue, or two of them, anyway, on the Fourth.

Happy early birthday from me too! This is a great outfit (and would be perfect for the school drop-off as well)! I love how your sister did your make-up. It looks very soft and natural, but gives your features some extra emphasis. The lip color is divine on you!

Happy birthday. DD has inherited Mum's good taste. You look fun & relaxed - the cat T is cute and you look good in red.

I agree with Claire that this is a GREAT drop off outfit! The red jeans look so terrific on you and I love your gap polka dot shirt (I have one but am still trying to wash it multiple times till it softens).

I think your work on MOTG is paying off! This is fun (appropriate for the day) and truly casual, without neglecting your distinctive flair!

Now here's a fabulously patriotic and cute family! Adorable :)

Holy moley, you look stunning in makeup. Not that you don't look stunning normally, but just the lipstick alone really adds a lot of elegance to your look.

I absolutely adore the kitty tee and the polka dot shirt worn as a jacket.

And of course, your scene-stealing little ones. Oh, what a fun and beautiful family! Your daughter's smile in the last picture cracked me up.

Awww Andrea, that is simply the cutest! Is that Regan? She's adorable with the flag in her mouth!!! Happy July 4 to you too!

That's her! I crack up every time I look at that photo. She's silly. :)
