WIW Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

What I wore to the Ugly Christmas Sweater party at work. DH wore a fuzzy Santa beaver sweater. I went all out for the GI party theme with a polar bear who ate bad fish and has sparkly light up vomit (no, that's not a Christmas tree). Wore a matching set of snowflake necklace and earrings, white tulle skirt, and silver Kate Spade shoes and turquoise clutch. I plan even my most obnoxious outfits carefully! I was voted in the top 5 ugliest sweaters at the party!

    I am not a fan of ugly Christmas sweaters, but that skirt is beyond gorgeous.  It literally takes my breath away.  I also love your necklace and earrings.  You look so beautiful.

    That ugly Christmas sweater is a gem to be carefully preserved for your children when they need an UCS someday. Your careful outfit planning makes it look fab.

    Our Xmas day party this year is also ugly sweater themed. I am thinking of wearing a similar concept although my sweater is not as deliciously ugly as yours.

    Love it!  The skirt is so fab.  I have a classic ugly sweater that I can't find anywhere.  I didn't realize it had gone missing until the night before the office social event where there would be an ugly Christmas sweater contest.

    That sweater is truly in the "ugly" category.  you did a fab and fun way of putting together an outfit for the party.  I vote you #1.

    Oh wow - I thought that was a Christmas tree. Anyway, It looks very nice with the skirt.

    A delightfully ugly sweater! Only you could style it in an utterly perfect way that it looks very chic. Love the tulle skirt with it!

    Well, you did a great job!
    My beef with UCSP's is that they compete for opportunities to wear  our really fab stuff that we've gotten for dress-up or festive occasions. Such as some of your great "real" tops that go with your tulle skirts. I"m so glad you wore the other lovely items in the outfit for juxtaposition!

    HAHA!  My workplace is having an Ugly Sweater and jeans day today.  I don't own one and didn't have time to shop/thrift, so I settled for my cashmere "Pow!" sweater. 

    You, of course, pulled this off perfectly.  I can't imagine who won if you didn't!

    Ahhh! I'm blinded! Lol. Totally awesome with the tulle skirt. And hubby is blinding to match. Totally awesome!

    Holy Cow!  That sweater must have been designed by a junior high aged boy!  

    Love the way you paired the sweater with a gorgeous skirt and killer heels -- you look great, and hubby does, too!

    I am very impressed by this well planned outfit. I cannot see your husband's sweater that well, but if the beaver had been pooping, you might have won for team effort.

    Only "in the top five"?? If the award had been for grossest ugly sweater surely you would have won, right?
    It's brilliant to pair the sweater with your beautiful tulle skirt. You do manage to make a funny outfit look gorgeous.
