WIW 1/27, 29, 31: Four eyes cubed and KS typewriter bag!

So fun! DH gave me a Kate Spade gift card for Christmas, and it didn't take long to use it. I happened to come across a surprise one-day sale at Kate Spade.com and they had this typewriter bag on sale. They were bringing back the greatest hits from past handbag seasons. Felt like I'm cheating on Ms. Scarlet, but I totally could not resist this whimsical purse! I also picked up these Kate Spade reversible glasses pendants. One is black and red, and the other is tortoiseshell and gold. Super fun to bookend my specs with these glasses necklaces. I'm a secretary in #1 and a librarian in #8, and I don't know what in #5 (tornado tamer?). #1 is my favorite and so me with the matchy matchy details (did you notice the polka dots in the skirt and the iPhone case match the typewriter keys on the bag?) :)

    That bag rules! So do the glasses pendants -- I might need the tortoiseshell version myself. And all the looks are so fun!

    Your new bag is perfect to add a touch of whimsy, as are the spec pendants. I did notice the details of typewriter keys and your dotted skirt, also the white on the bag with your white shirt.

    Viva, the taupe Mary Jane heels are Chie Mihara. I got them at Anthro and they called them "Written In Stars" heels.

    Aubergine, I hope you do get a pair! I got them on sale at Kate Spade but it doesn't look like they're available any more, but maybe on eBay?

    They remind me of the reading glasses that people used to wear on a chain around their neck. Very retro, esp. with the typewriter bag. I wonder what the whimsical retro items will look like when our kids grow up...purses that look like iPhones? Haha!

    Great bag!  It's so fun and goes with your style so well.  I also really like your glasses necklace and the outfits you put together with it.  I don't think I've seen the tan shoes in #11 before and like the details on them.  They also seem very "you".

    BTW - great job of taking selfies while holding the baby.  I have a hard enough time taking my own pics with no distractions.

    Goldenpig, I may have to look on Ebay and see if I can track some down! And I'm totally waiting for the day when I see some young whippersnapper with a "retro" iPhone bag!

    The typewriter is a really fun piece. Also your shoes are cool.

    I love the matchy matchy. In my book it's a good thing.
