WIW 5/1: Playing koi

I fell in love with the koi espadrilles that Angie posted about recently and promptly bought a pair. They are so comfy and the perfect summer MOTG shoe! I love patterns, especially of living things, so they are perfect! I chose a blue boating style jacket, nautical navy stripe shirt and "water drop" crystal pendant to go with the koi theme.

I have been trying to work on my casual MOTG style and buying truly casual items rather than my usual MO of re-appropriating work clothes for MOTG, so I was happy to find this shirt and jacket at Banana Republic Factory Outlet (I had to make the trek up there to return a dress after accidentally recycling the return label but Saks Off 5th refused to send me a new one, boo). Even happier that they were 50% off! My belly has been bigger than I'd like lately, so I need to find good apple-friendly casual tees and tops...this one is a little thicker weight and looser around the belly so it works great. DS1 and 2 are little hams and wanted in on the action, and DS1 wanted to take a picture of my shoes...love his little feet in the picture!

Banana Republic Factory Outlet navy jacket
BRFO navy stripe tee (linked one is grey)
Kut from the Kloth Catherine boyfriend jeans (Nordstrom)
Mulo koi espadrilles (Net-a-Porter)
Alexis Bittar crystal pendant (Nordstrom)
MZ Wallace Tribeca orange purse (it's the perfect non-diaper bag diaper bag!)

You are an AMAZINGLY stylish MOTG, Natalie. Wow. Those espadrilles are killer. And your kids are soooooo cute. Just like their fab, Mama.

Natalie, your MOTG style is through the roof. Such a great outfit! The new finds are perfect casual chic pieces, and I love the orange backpack bag with the outfit. Those koi espadrilles are so pretty--thanks for the closeup. I was expecting more "cute" but they are really lovely.
    Your kids are so adorable!

What a delightful MOTG outfit. Would those espadrilles work on a low volume foot?

Thank you Joyce, Angie, Sharan and Joy! Thanks so much Angie for posting them...they make me smile every time I wear them! I am working through Marie Kondo's "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying" and I can say these shoes definitely spark joy! Speaking of Joy, yes Joy, I have low volume feet and they work perfectly for low volume feet. I took my "normal" size...I am a 7.5 in US and bought the size 5 UK which is what they recommended on the size conversion chart on the website. As you can tell there from the pics, there is a bit of extra room around the sides, but I think the size down would have been too short on the length. It doesn't fall off when I walk and is just a very comfy sneaker-like shoe.

Now I want koi shoes, too. I like goldfish so much, I use them as my business logo!

Your title is irresistible! What a great way to add fun to your MOTG look. But how is DS 2 already standing?!? Eek time goes quickly!

    You look great!

I fell in love with those shoes too! Now that I hear they work for low-volume feet, I'm even more tempted.

This is a VERY sophisticated MOTG look! :) Your boys are super cute. I remember the youngest being a baby - how time flies!

Oh aren't those koi shoes fab! Your MOTG look is lovely. What a great jacket too.

I can't believe that's the same little boy I saw at SSIF last year, my how he's grown! Your DS's are sooo cute!
