Return these Tory Burch items?

Here is the outfit I ended up with (pic 1-2) and am keeping the Tory Burch beetle blouse, pleated skirt, and dragonfly pumps.

Here are the other Tory Burch items I had ordered, but I think I'm going to return these. Do you agree, or are there any I should keep? I thought you might be curious to see these items on me anyways, even if I end up returning them, to see what works and what doesn't.

I'm a little conflicted about the tee, which is cute, but I think it might be OD'ing on beetle since I'm already keeping the beetle blouse. The teal perforated leather skirt is gorgeous, but I feel like it's Just Too Much for work. I already have two other leather skirts for work, a black pencil skirt and a brown A line. Plus it's over $600 even on sale (the pleated one I kept is more like $130). The sweater is not really my style--maybe too sporty/preppy. The dress isn't so flattering on me and puckers at the top and is a little too bare for winter. And the necklace I found a more delicate dragonfly necklace from Alexis Bittar that is really pretty (pic 2) (DD loves it and already asked me if I could give her that necklace when she grows up!), so this Tory Burch pendant may be too statement-y and redundant. I did find another Tory Burch dragonfly pendant that is a little bit more subdued. Which of these two Tory Burch pendants would you keep, or should I just stick to the Alexis Bittar? (ETA: the AB comes in a pin version too!) I really like dragonflies, so I am OK with keeping multiples! It could be my leitmotif!
3-4. sweater
5. dragonfly pendant
6-9. teal perforated leather skirt
10-13. teal dress
14-17. beetle T shirt

18. Dragonfly pendant #2

19. Alexis Bittar dragonfly pin (I am tempted to keep this one as well, because it doesn't have a wiggly tail like the necklace, which I think is a little distracting), but I would get less use out of a pin than a necklace. The AB necklace and pin were on sale so I got a good price on them. The TB were not on sale but they end up all being around the same price.

I concur with all of your wise decisions. :)

PS: Your DD has good taste!

My favorite is the dress, but I don't get that shoulder detail.  Can't really see that working on anyone.  I would personally go for #18 out of the necklaces, but I'm more on the minimal side, so that's a preference issue.

Thanks Lyn! My DD has already appropriated my closet for the future, and lucky for her I only have one girl!

Liz, I think I may end up keeping the simpler Tory Burch pendant you liked as well, just to have something to match my pumps!

I agree with your decisions to return the lot.  I do like the dress and I think the shoulder puckering is just a consequence of the shoulders being too long, which is a super easy fix.  However, it sounds like it's not practical for you anyway, so I think I'd return.

I like the Alexis Bittar dragonfly the best by far!

Diana, I forgot! I also ordered the pin version of the Alexis Bittar. Decisions, decisions! I may break down and keep multiple versions of the jewelry, I like dragonflies so much!

I love your outfit in #1! I think you have done a very good job at discerning what to keep.

I think that keeping the beetle tee may be OD-ing on beetle also. The more distinctive something is, the more careful you have to be of overloading. And I think that since you are also getting the dragonfly pendant and pumps, that is probably enough insects to add to the wardrobe at once, so you don't get tired of them. :^)

The fabrics were all gorgeous. With stuff that is so rich like these items, I think you are right to just pick a few winners and take the rest back. It's kind of like knowing that you should eat only a few chocolates out of the candy assortment and not half the box. :^)

I like all three pendants and can't see you going wrong with any of them. It may depend where you want to wear the pendant. I can see the flatter two pendants working well high up on your neck or lower on your bust, but I don't know if the cylindrical one would be as versatile. That one seems designed more for wear lower down.

As much as like the idea of the sweater, it doesn't work for me. Nor does the tee (it feels drab to me). I like pendant #5. I find the leather skirt too sweet, but like the V-neck dress...

    LOVE the outfit you're keeping.

You chose well! The outfit you are keeping is fantastic. The dress is beautiful, but the puckering would drive me batty. I really LOVE the perforated leather skirt on you - so flattering! - but if you think it's too much and would feel self-conscious in it, you are wise to return.

I love the tee and would definitely keep it!  I would pass on the TB pendants and keep the AB.

Keep the AB pendant for sure! The sweater and T can go too. The dress isn't bad, but you have better. The leather skirt is gorgeous, but ouch on the price.

I vote keep the tee to have a beetle item for your casual wardrobe. It fits very well.

I really like the outfit you are keeping and agree to send the rest back, except the jewellery if you love it. The other stuff just isn't singing to you sweetly enough and you don't really need un-fab pieces that cause you stress.

I like the outfit in 3-4 and the pendant in 5 for you. Also I agree the tee is cute but its just a tee. (Would ON or Target have things just as cute?). The leather skirt fits beautifully but could be an expensive orphan. It is very trendy (color, perforated leather) although the cut is classic. It may not be a long lived item in your closet. So I'm agreeing with your decision to return.
