WIW White moto jacket and teal x 5

I've been wearing this white Dorothy Perkins moto jacket a lot! These are all from the last month or so. I just noticed that all of these outfits have teal in them! And I guess they are "seasonally inappropriate", given the concern some people had about wearing ballet flats and bare ankles in the winter. Oh well, I guess it seems to work for me, because I've been doing it a lot!
1-2. Black turtleneck and teal snakeskin skirt and teal snakeskin ballet flats (matchy matchy fun!) and teal dragonfly necklace
3-4. Plum T-shirt and orange and teal infinity scarf
5. Teal sweater and teal patterned pencil skirt
6-7. Teal and burgundy Nine West "magic" dress
8-11. J Crew poppy origami dress and teal snakeskin ballet flats

ETA: Sorry, I don't know why it has a poll on it, but I can't get rid of it. So, how about

Yay=sure, wear ballet flats in the winter

Nay=no way, cover up with tights and/or boots

Gp do you manage to wear the dcarf the entire day? More often than npt I dump them in between work;)
Oh and yes you look fantastic ss always

Wear those ballet flats in winter. I wear them to on milder days with knee highs and pants or sheer or micro fishnet stockings and skirts.

    Thanks Una, Ramya & Joy!
Ramya, I wore that scarf on my day off. I don't think I could keep a scarf on all day at work. Which is why I think my scarf collection hasn't seen much action.
Joy, good solution. I think I need to get a pair of micro fishnets.

If you're not cold, why not? I think the look that bothered some was exposed ankles + puffer, scarf, lots of layers, etc., which doesn't seem to apply here.

    Great moto!

I love seeing the moto in action!  And I surprise myself by totally loving the TB flats as I don't normally care for her style.  Hey, I wore gladiator sandals just now in the mid 60 temps.  I'm sure the native Floridians thought I was seasonally inappropriate ;)
Have you washed the jacket yet?  I've only worn mine once, but envision after a handful of wears I'll be facing that.

Great jacket and it is so versatile it will get plenty of wear!   I love the flats , but also questioned the warmth factor... I put mine away unitl Spring...

You look terrific!  And if you are not cold, why not? After all, you do live in a more moderate part of the country. Make use of it!!  :D

I don't think it's seasonally inappropriate to wear ballet flats in winter if your winter is mild!  I agree it's the combo of bare skin and giant parka that seems ridiculous to me.

    And hooray for teal!  =)

My fave is #1. The flats are substantial enough, I think, for the NoCal winter.

There's so much I admire here; you could create a teal capsule. It's a beautiful color on you.
Wonderful scarf in #3, and your bag looks super with it.
I also love your dragonfly necklace, teal skirt, and teal shoes. Oh, and your teal bracelet.
I agree with others that you might as well wear the shoes if you're comfortable in them.

Love the moto and it looks great with teal!
I think it would be seasonally inappropriate if you were wearing a heavy wool coat and ballet flats on bare feet. In your case with this moto jacket I is totally cool!
I say if you feel comfortable in ballet flats in winter wear them with panache <she said enviously trudging through 2 feet of snow in her heavy snow boots...>
