WIW 4/10 Shadow style: AllSaints Flora Mortis tee, Theory blazer and SE Ollies

I just got Angie's recommended fluid tee from AllSaints--the Flora Mortis tee (my first AllSaints purchase!). Received it yesterday and couldn't wait to put it on today. It's so soft and I love the fluid fit (great for apples) and black and white print of the wilting flowers. I wore it with my Theory leather trim black blazer, white skinny jeans and the Sam Edelman studded black Ollie pumps to work. (Too bad the pants covered up most of the shoe!) A little edgy and casual for the office, but I think it still works...what do you think?  I can tell this tee is going to be a workhorse for both MOTG and work!

Most of my new purchases this year have been focused on developing my shadow style. Don't know what to call it. UWP? Ladylike edgy? RATE Kate? Having fun exploring my darker side!

PS I often feel like I'm in the eye of the hurricane!

    I can really see your shadow style blooming, GP:-) Love the new purchases, you are really focused! No matter the name and strenght of the hurricane, black and white  feel always polished and strong enough for getting through it all!:-)

    Love.  Thank you for showing this tee under a jacket -- I was eyeing it myself and thinking that that's just how I'd wear it too.

    I should feel relieved to see that that All Saints tee I cannot have would be too long for me anyway; still, now I want you shoes. Not fair. You are a knockout and have the cutest kids!

    Love the top.  Looks great on you and love how you have styled it.  The edgy look suits you.  Not sure what label I would call it but it works for you.

    Love this. Love the proportions. The white denim keeps the look from being too "dark side".
    Enjoy the sweet chaos those little ones bring. The house goes quiet all too soon.

    The Ollies and Flora Mortis tee look made for each other!  I love this outfit on you, it looks equal parts ladylike and edgy and totally office appropriate.  The only thing I would change is the pants length - I think they would look better if the length was just at/above the straps of your shoes.  (But they still look great now)

    Do you suppose it is safe to say that your edgy things are nolonger shadow style, but a fully-integrated component of your look?  Maybe it is time to revisit your style persona?

    I think you've found a great balance in this outfit between your ladylike and edgy sides, Natalie! The white pants and floral print keep it a little bit softer, and even the Ollies are a nice cross between rocker and girly.

    I love how serene you are with all the chaos at your feet! I remember those days fondly!

    I really love this style on you.  The combo of the tee, shoes and bag are awesome with the white jeans.  Maybe this shouldn't just be "shadow style" for you? :)

    Thanks everyone! I'll come back after work to comment further. Elpgal, it's a size S which was what the size chart recommended (I'm normally size 4-6).

    I sent my M back and am waiting impatiently for the S replacement! Hope it works better for me in the smaller size. White is a great idea! I think I like it better on you than me, but I still really want it!
