WIW 5/1: Inspired by Nature Day 2--water lilies

I decided I wanted to wear my Kate Spade black and white chrysanthemum dress because the flowers reminded me of the lily pad leaves. I tried adding some accessories that were either aqua/blue or kelly green to reflect the colors in the picture, but I wasn't entirely sure about these combinations and plus the peep toe wedges are too high to be comfortable at work, so I ended up going with plain & simple 2/3. Hope that isn't too boring! (Do either the aqua or green combos work though?)

    Just lovely !!! Number 8 is just my favorite with regards to the art. I love those shoes, btw.

    I am loving this idea. I haven't posted because I haven't felt well, but tomorrow I am going to post what I would have worn if I had been feeling better ! LOL !

    Gorgeous, Natalie! I love how the print of the dress echoes the shape of the lily pads and the blue clutch and green jacket definitely tie into the colors of the photograph. Great outfit!

    YOU GOT THE DRESS! It's stunning on you Natalie! I think it works with any/all of these combinations. I love it with the turquoise clutch (surprise, surprise)!

    Ooh the dress looks smashing on you! I think both the aqua and green work with it, I mean it's black and white so pair with whatever color strikes your fancy :D LOVE that aqua clutch!

    To go with the photo, I love #4 and #6, but how about adding the green jacket to the mix as well? Those shoes are awesome too! Match made in heaven for the dress.

    I like both the greens and aquas that you added to the dress. I like the contrast of color with the black and white dress. I think you did a good job with the challenge. That photo is a tough one - I couldn't think of anything in my closet that really evokes the colors or tone.

    What a great interpretation! Love the dress in all variations. The aqua clutch is divine. The green jacket is pretty awesome too. You have an AMAZING wardrobe!
